Institute for Research and Studies (IRaS) is a non-profit organization, dedicated to carrying out in-depth, practice oriented research and studies. Primarily, IRaS focuses on research and studies in three major overlapping, yet independent cross-cutting thematic areas, i.e. Law and Good Governance, Economy and Livelihood, and Education and Skill development.

IRaS aims to establish itself as an independent and impartial think-tank in Nepal. To initiate fact-based dialogues and discussion on current National and Global affairs. To robustly encourage and engage graduate students in research journals.

IRaS aims to publish various research findings, policy analysis, and articles. We publish articles related to our major thematic areas i.e. law and good governance, economy and livelihood, and education and skill development. We accept articles from authors if submitted as per our submission guidelines.
